our campaign
We have designed a bi-national impact campaign to change the narrative about undocumented youth and their families. Our goal is to create more empathy toward immigrants living in the US and Mexico and to open a dialogue about the urgency of a new migratory model based on respect for human rights. This will include the creation of a standards-based curriculum for use in schools and an audience discussion guide, among other activities.
THE TOUR: BETWEEN DOS MUNDOS
We created a tour of free screenings across the Mexico-US border to bring the film to high schools, colleges, and immigrant communities, alongside workshops that will promote the use of creative tools to help young people identify with the experience of the immigrant families portrayed in the documentary. Through the screenings and workshops, we hope to inspire youth to join the fight for better and fairer migration policies both in Mexico and the United States.
The tour starts in Tijuana/San Diego and travels along the border to El Paso/Ciudad Juárez. It ends with two special events: first screening in Miami where Jasmine, one of our protagonists lives, and finally a special screening on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
